Head of Marketing and Communications (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
As our Head of Marketing and Communications (m/f/d) you will shape and execute our marketing vision, drive brand growth, and oversee all communication strategies. You main responsibilities will include:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional marketing team
- Oversee all digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email, and content marketing, ensuring brand consistency and engagement
- Manage public relations, media outreach, etc.
- Analyze data and campaign performance, reporting on ROI and KPIs to the executive team
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources
- Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and best practices, integrating new technologies and approaches
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, tech partners, and media
Your Profile
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior marketing/communications role, preferably in digital education, tech, or startup environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Technologies, or a related field
- Demonstrable success in designing and executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging for diverse audiences in German and English
- Knowledge in photography, videography and editing
- Knowledge of content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

You will be invited to a second video call via teams with the Hiring Manager and the People & Culture representative. This video call will take around 1h.
STEP 05
Final Step & Decision
Last step within our recruiting process is an onside visit at our Potsdam office location, called the CloudHouse. You will have the chance to get a feeling of our office environment, meet colleagues and ask final questions. This visit will take around 1-1.5h.
