About This Course

This micro-degree equips students with a comprehensive and practice-oriented understanding of how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to drive business innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurial ventures.

The course bridges the gap between technical AI developments and real-world business applications, enabling participants to move from basic AI literacy to the design, validation, and pitching of viable AI-powered business models or AI-driven transformation strategies for existing organisations.

  • Translate AI capabilities and limitations into concrete business and innovation opportunities.
  • Design AI-powered products, services, or transformation strategies aligned with market needs.
  • Create go-to-market and growth strategies for AI-driven ventures.
  • Navigate ethical, regulatory, and risk considerations, including EU AI Act and GDPR implications.
  • Produce an investor-ready business plan and pitch deck for AI-focused initiatives.

  • Gain a non-technical yet robust understanding of AI fundamentals, tools, and business applications.
  • Identify and validate AI business opportunities using structured innovation and entrepreneurship frameworks.
  • Design AI solution architectures and MVP concepts using no-code and low-code tools where appropriate.

  • German UDS Micro Degrees are compatible with the European MOOC Consortiums Common Micro Credentials Framework.
  • Micro Degrees will be rewarded with an equivalent of 5 ECTS.
  • Micro Degrees are offered to non-regular students and require a fee of €900.
